Effect of mori folium and eucommiae cortex oral solution on immune function of chicken infected with IBDV

Sangdu oral liquid (MFEC), a kind of traditional Chinese medicine, is used as new immune enhancer for veterinary drugs or vaccines. In current study, we aimed to evaluate the effect and mechanism MFEC on improving response B87 vaccine. Eighty SPF chickens were divided into blank control group (BC group), infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) (IBDV vaccine (B87+IBDV group) combination (MFEC+B87+IBDV group). addition BC group, all other groups infected with IBDV establish immunosuppressive model. Chickens in both B87+IBDV MFEC+B87+IBDV immunized given 7 days. Compared there significantly lower morbidity mortality, higher level antibody, less tissue damage, expression Bax Bcl-2 (P < 0.05). IBDV-VP2, IL-6 IFN-γ mRNA was than that can effectively improve vaccine, resist invasion replication avoid damage apoptosis caused by infection.
